Not growing anywhere for a while

Broken umbrella: "Really? Right here? Right next to this gorgeous, tall, GROWING tree?"

Mint condition

How 'bout I just take a random stab at your thought process here, owner-friend - "Hey, look how cute this color is, I never see umbrellas that look like this. What a cheery way to brighten an otherwise really shitty day."

Gotcha there, didn't I?

Is The Artist Formerly Known as Prince missing an umbrella?

Another from Bella! She found this one on the #6 downtown platform at the 53rd street subway station. And by the looks of the pins in our UmbrellaHQ Locator Map (Patent Pending), you New Yorker umbrellarazzi are hovering quite close - we can't wait for the day two of you meet at the same broken umbrella!

Filibustered

We've always heard the
Dress code in D.C. is staid
But this is just whacked.

Painful memories

Of the time we tried to sneak over the fence into the neighborhood pool back in high school. When it was my turn to scale the fence the trashcan we were using to get up and over tipped over. Man alive, I loved that bathing suit: hot pink and high cut. And, most importantly, very strong.

Poor fella.

Around the wrong corner

Minding your own biz
Then 'round the corner, surprise!
Bing, bang, boom, pop. Soaked.

Our first D.C. casualty was sent by @Nerdette via Twitter. ZOMG, we love technology; thanks 'ette!

Going green

Our friend Alyssa sends this hot mess in from the University of Pennsylvania campus. We applaud ivy league students who hang on until the last possible moment and use proper trash receptacles. Thanks, Alyssa!

Aloha

In honor of our 1-year anniversary, here's a gem from the honeymoon. It's been a great year with lots of love, a few fights, and many crosswords.
