Great eye, Karen!

We're all in this together

At least you can't say it's lonely at the end.

Special thanks to Dan for sending this great shot. And for Jen for suggesting us to him!

Forensics

Our friend Alanna is back and was minding her own business when she came upon this tragic crime scene. Given the victim's decomposition, we are led to believe it may have attacked first, although the punishment certainly doesn't fit the crime.

Don't pick up strangers

Unless you are Martha Stewart and happen to have a ream of all-purpose fabric and pincing shears in the back seat. Then consider this your lucky day.

Ginny spotted this during her lunch hour in Greenville, South Carolina. Our first from the upstate! Thanks, dear!

WIP

Snapped by our friend @winedownNYC, right outside their almost-ready-to-debut wine bar & cafe in Manhattan's Murray Hill!

And while "come in from the rain and enjoy a glass of wine" may be the perfect tease for passersby and 9am cubicle dwellers, perhaps the owner would be well-served to show his bartender this same photo and advise not to make his pours nearly as heavy.

Save us a barstool for the grand opening, Volkan! ;)

Over and above

The call of duty
Shattered bones; handle missing
Wind totally sucks

Philly favorite, @WhitneyBender came across this hot mess earlier this week. And beep boop bap boop beep, popped it into our inbox minutes later. Umbrella hunting, is there an app for that?

Thanks Whit!

Another quick reaction from Roisin at Boston University's campus. And oh how we wish we could get a zoom on that label.

Hung over

(the side of the trash can)

Whitney came upon this hot mess on her rainy commute home from work on Monday. Looks like we missed quite the party. Thanks, Whitney!

Re-constructed

Well now here's one of the coolest things we've discovered barreling down the information superhighway (still, great phrase).

Meet Fiona Long, an artist from London, who collects broken umbrellas and turns them into sculptures. It might be awkward to say we love Fiona, but since she's bazillions of miles away and doesn't have to worry about us showing up to go 'brolly hunting, we'll just go ahead and say it. Love.

Check out her amazing work here. All the best and thanks for the cross post, kindered spirit Fiona. Looking forward to future a picture here that becomes a sculpture there.

It's all over now, baby blue

Looks like an inconvenient blow-out did this one in for good.

Spotted by a reader from Queens. Thanks, Will!
