Indecent exposure

Must say, we did expect more of an effort from those stalwart, weather-worn Brits. First-timer @Stdismas sent this not-quite-broken castaway to us from London.

A cautionary tale

It's the color of royalty, of juicy summertime treats, one of my favorite handbags and half my alma mater. A talking dinosaur who taught manners and that adorable, well-meaning blob who ran with the Hamburgler and Ronald. The wedding industry dresses it up as eggplant or aubergine. And yet, somehow, despite all that great press and PR, some people just can't wear purple, even when it seems to have kept them dry.

Not me, though; I'm positively hooked.
